Allotment Clearance
Park Edge / North Gate Site - September 2013
A team from Lloyds TSB, organised through Business in the Community, attacked the largely neglected and overgrown allotment triangle bordered by Ravenhurst Road, Park Edge and North Gate on September 5th. The days backbreaking work transformed ground elder, nettles and rubble into piles of green bags and a bonfire yet to be. The incoming allotment holders are very grateful.
And a few weeks later, a bonfire enjoyed by allotment holders, friends and neighbours, followed by some food and drink. 
The Square Site - September 2013
A team from Mondelez (the owners of Cadbury amongst others), organised through Business in the Community, attacked the sites off The Square on September 9th. Again, the site was transformed from overgrown weeds to land fit for furure cultivation.
Moor Pool Avenue Site and Bulb Planting at the Spinney - October 2013
A team from Mondelez tackle the Moor Pool Avenue Site on October 22nd. And Philippe and Louise plant bulbs at the Spinney.
May 2014
Mondelez continue their good work between North Gate, High Brow and The Circle.
